| Oklahoma fell from the perch atop the USA TODAY coaches poll it had held all season after its home loss to Texas Tech. That result created a consensus of a sort as LSU and Alabama were picked either first or second on all 59 of the coaches' ballots this week. LSU was voted first on 41 of them to claim the No.1 ranking for the first time since the final poll of its national championship 2007 season. |
